Is there a business case for sinking resources into maintaining the Linux version on a regular basis? We’re now finding that there’s so much to do that working on the Windows version of the ClearCanvas Workstation is taking up all of our time already. The possible approaches are to (1) sync up the Linux distribution every month or so, which would take up resources regularly that could otherwise be devoted to working on the Windows version, or (2) wait until there’s actual real demand for a Linux version to sink in resources to do a port.

I’d like to ask the community, then, would you have a use for a Linux version of ClearCanvas Workstation? How would you use it? Please comment here, or post in the forums.

Thanks.
