hi,

we are a small CRO from Berlin, Germany and we like to use ClearCanvas to manage our blinded reads.

previously we used JiveX but we want to change the system. Up to now we used batch files to start the program and then display e.g. 4 Images parallel on two monitors for the blinded read and then show the next 4 and so on...   (the images were identified and uploaded by the session OIDs in the code.) The images were previously imported in JiveX.

so, my problem is, is it possible to load images per such batch file (which are previously imported) or is there any other solution (automations or something)?. I read in some topics about a automations but can't find anything in detail.

I took a look in the workstation code but that didn't help.

thank you for answers ^^

Hi, automation is covered pretty well in the Developer's Guide.  I know a lot of people on the forums have had success with minimal pain :)  This is probably your best bet.

Hope this helps,

Stewart

Oh, also, depending on your needs, if the default per-modality layout isn't good enough, you might have to either augment the automation services to support layout control (pretty easy, really), or write a custom LayoutManager plugin for the viewer.
